5/5 Did you ever make it to summer camp as a kid? Wish you could re-live that? The inaugural Camp Anarchy is bringing punk rock debauchery to summer camp (adults only!) this summer. It's summer camp on a whole new level; dodgeball, camping, s’mores, craft beer, scavenger hunts and punk rock debauchery over three days in the rolling hills just outside of Columbus.
5/4 Homegrown X is a smashing success after weather challenges threaten the day. Team dRiFFt and a few thousand of our closest friends spent our Sunday at Homegrown Festival X soaking in the perfect weather and even more perfect music. But thanks to mother nature, it almost didn’t happen.
5/4 JMBLYA angers fans; Dallas cut short, Austin date cancelled; in hot water, once again, over makeup show and lack of proper attendee notifications. Trust us? Nope... not any more!

4/29 JMBLYA brings their curated selection of today’s hottest and most sought-after hip hop performers to Dallas and Austin this weekend. The seventh annual JMBLYA Festival is almost upon us with a 2019 lineup that features headliners Travis Scott and Lil Wayne.

4/20 Held in the Biergarten of Karbach Brewery in Houston on May 19, Love Street Music Festival brings fans of brew and fans of great music the ultimate summer hangout. Karbach is known for a kaleidoscope of quirky, trendy events throughout the year at their brewery. Love Street Music fest is the piece de resistance of their busy event calendar and one of our personal favorites.
4/16 On the white sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park in a beautiful oceanside setting, Tortuga Music Festival is a 3-day, multi-stage music festival featuring some of the biggest names in country, rock and roots music.
4/8 Grandson: setting a new precedence in the age-old tale of activist rock with a modern blend of rock, grunge, metal and hip-hop and underlying themes of activism and human rights, it's resonating with a uniquely diverse audience. After a fateful float fest meeting last year, we caught up with Grandson again last week at his sold-out Austin tour stop.
4/5 Now in it’s 10th year, Homegrown is a unique local festival connecting Dallas music lovers with a kaleidoscope of curated local musical talent. Created specifically to showcase bands and artists from the region, it’s an annual extravaganza in Dallas' Main Street Garden Park, held this year on April 13.
4/1 Nothing More, the Truth Tour at Southside Ballroom, Dallas, a show review. Hawkins, Oliver, Vollelunga and Anderson give more than everything during every moment of every song. From their electric stage presence to an innate sensibility to their sound, their mastery of rock musicality is nothing short of thrilling.

3/17 Introducing Lullwater The band that everyone is talking about this year - wrapping a tour supporting Sevendust and Tremonti, and with a new album release: "Voodoo is a masterpiece that hints at a maturity in their craft; an intricately layered, delicately dark homage to human existence." I made the trek to catch their San Antonio set and sat down with the guys to chat about writing, recording and touring.
